I'm originally from Kansas but have found my home in Brooklyn with my super creative husband, our mega sassy lil 2.5 year old daughter, our 13 year old but still spunky shorthaired pointer, and am expecting another little bub in the summer... When my daughter was born, I left a creative director postion in a successful design firm to stay at home and be inspired everyday by the wonder in these cuties' eyes. That alone keeps me on my creative toes and inspired to make all kinds of things I love, and that she would love too; full of color, wit and whimsy! 

If my biggest wish were granted, I'd wish to have art in every home. Any form of creativity for children and adults alike to be exposed to creative outlets and news ways of seeing without having to work too hard for it. I'd create moments for parents and kids to connect and make meaningful memories. Creative influence makes the world a better place... and every day brighter. It's just as easy for a child to play with something incredibly beautiful, well crafted, quirky, creative, fun, imaginative, open ended and bold as it is the standard toy selection out there! And really people, that goes for all you big kids too! 

My joy comes from seeing the smile on a face when I give something I made with my hands and heart and knowing that what I give has the potential to spark creative play for years to come. I don't use patterns or instructions most of the time because exploring, solving, making and doing are the most fun parts! So that means that each creation is unique to itself and is a family affair here. So far, my husband draws the sketch, my daughter names the monster and I translate that into a squishy, soft plush pal! Same process for the other goods in the store too!
